MY LIFE AT SCHOOL

​ I love games and if I had control over my schooling, I would only play games but not just any games, I like to create my own games and then involve my friends in their testing. They usually involve cut outs and boxes. With this, I have fun with my playmates. I make cut-outs of titans and people with robotic heads, at times also add crazy accessories. My mom says I am very good at cut-outs. I can make almost perfect cut-outs, so you can hardly see the mistakes or misses, and I have never cut myself with a scissor.

Sometimes I also like to make jokes. Once I asked my mom about the logic of jokes and here is what she told me: Jokes need to have some surprise element and it should talk about something impossible, not scientifically but logically in a funny way. Perhaps I understood some part of it and tried telling her jokes following the rules but most of my attempts failed to get a genuine laugh. Anyways, I still keep trying.

I also like to draw, not flowers and birds but gadgets and robots, also cars and trains. Sometimes, I create drawing competitions and ask my friends to play along. In this process, sometimes, I end up creating dark or horror, unappreciated by adults though I still feel amused with it and so do most of my classmates. I once made a death note and a life note. Perhaps it emerged from the idea of Freud who says that every human being has a life wish as well as death wish.

However, I still find my classes very boring because what is taught in the class is very basic and I want to read advance stuff. I am 6th standard but I want to read 8th, 9th and even books that my mom brings for herself. I always snatch away the book the moment it is delivered and start reading. I finish reading a book within a day, even if its my mom's. She sometimes try to compete with me by reading together but she can never. Isn't it funny?

She is a professional writer and a passionate reader. And yet, I am always the winner. Now, it is a joke because sometimes, I do not understand the adult books completely so I take her help. At school, I am given a special privilege and allowed to bring books other than class books. Thanks to mom for that and to my teachers who willingly agreed despite the school rule to not bring extra stuff. I often read books I bring from home at school. Earlier, I used to get science or math books. Nowadays, I mostly bring story books. My favourite series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Wimpy Kid, and Geronimo.

I like books a lot. I can call myself a bookworm. Sometimes I also irritate my family as I continue to read when I am eating and walking. But as big a fan I am of reading, I am also of writing which is why I am here. Couple of years back, I used to write on science, turn my notes into illustrations, activities, and games. Now, I write stories. I must have written 300 pages.

Most times, I look like an innocent, serious, studious, good boy but sometimes, I am also naughty which is why our principal had to call my mom to school a couple of times. And these were my crimes:

I brought toys (the ones not allowed), used scissors to cut a girl's hair (she pissed me off). No joke, I'm serious. The principal almost threw me out of the school and mom had to go through a huge fight to get me back to school. Somehow, I didn't get expelled. Maybe because I cut only a little? Whatever the case, I am glad I didn't get expelled, or worse, get sent to one of those youngies' prisons that my mom keeps threatening me about (But I know the secret - nobody is sending me to jail for these small things).
